Sales should be POS mood & advance mood /invoice mood. For POS mood receipt print option & of course key board short cuts should be included. Short cut for New Invoice, Customer, Item & then cursor should automatically go to Quantity, & then to next item. In POS mood Exchange should included for payment.

The idea of a quick entry, POS style, is great!

Which customer should these entries be logged to? A default POS customers? Or should they require to enter in the customer each time?

What do you guys think about big buttons, like those touch-screen POS systems? Is this something you like to see?

A default POS customer , where database is not required , quick entry is required , sales volume is very small , a full page invoice is too much .

i think we should have an option as some people will want to update their customer database and some may not but if you guys n girls chose to go the path of customer info it should prompt for customer info first (number will be easier or alphanumeric). personally for me i would not bother with customer info for POS but it would still be cool to have the option for if i want to reward customers for E.g
As for big buttons i dont kno i lik eto click n tab if u can integrate touch sreens for restaurants but not my thing. Thanks for the consideration

Thanks Mr . Smith . Your idea is good . In POS mood You need not to use touch screen or big button , You can save customer info , but when you need quick sale , quick entry , small sales volume , customer info is not necessary but of course if you want you can save them ,

Hi everyone,

As I'm sure you've notice by now this option is available in the current version. If it's not your thing simply check "Always do this" and then "skip" to tell the program that you do not want to save your customer information back to the record (or unit price, vendor info etc.). If you are not being prompted to save and you'd like to be, simply go to Main Menu > Settings > Personal Settings and choose "Reset Always Do This".

Cheers.

Thanks again for the feedback! Another trick that we recently implemented to speed up POS entries is that if you only have one active Customer (e.g. "Retail Customer"), then it'll automatically select that customer for your sales orders.

Hey Carlo,

If you maximize inFlow, the sales order screen should scale bigger according to your resolution of your monitor.

Which part of the display would you like bigger?

I'm using inflow as a POS so I need the table in the sales order tab to be bigger. The customers always look at the screen and squint because they can't see if the cashier put in the right quantity or to check the prices. Can this be done? If it can, how can I do it?

Sorry Carlo, there's no way to change the specifics of the screen itself but you can certainly preview the sales order if you want to zoom in, that may allow your customers to review their order more fully before you print it out for them.

Hope that helps!
