I posted this topic a few weeks ago and still no news or help from the INQ team.

I'm looking for a function that will erase all the data (email accounts set up, contacts, calendar) on the phone.

I tried the master reset but it does not eliminate this info. I actually don't see what its doing..

I have a MAC..

Hi Ben
Sorry we missed your previous post. The Master Reset function simply reverts the handset's settings to the way they were when it left the factory (in other words default settings such as handset profile, language, display settings, etc).

To erase personal data, you'd need to go to each application and delete content. There are a few steps involved, but hopefully fairly straightforward:

- for email, you'd simply delete the account (Open INQ Email > highlight an account > Options > Delete account
- for contacts, you can delete all (Open Contacts > Options > Mark, then Options > Mark All, now Options > Delete)
- for calendar events, you can delete future events (Open Calendar > Options > Summary, then Options > Mark, Options > Mark All, and Options > Delete)

Please let me know if you have further questions.

thanks
Martin
