Issue with creating a new account

Hello,
I'm a customer from France. I'm trying to create an account from my mobile phone (iPhone 3GS), and I'm getting this message permanently:

"Sorry, we couldn't register you. Please confirm you have an internet connection and try again in a moment"

My Internet connection is actually fine. Is there any location-based restriction?

Given the problems I've had just getting their website to load, I am wondering if they are having some issues today. I am getting the same error as the original poster.

actually i've ady registered, but e app just keeps asking me to log in..so far i hvnt seen e main page of e app..hv been keying same username n psw for thousands of times..

I just ran into this same error message. For me, it was solved by turning my date & time settings to "set automatically". The message itself does seem a bit misleading, since connectivity didn't seem to be the problem.

Problem is still there. To give you some more information on the issue: I've tried it from my german mobile internet provider with 3G and with a wi-fi connection. Both doesn't work.

I am having the same problem with my Verizon iPhone. Trying to register a new account and keep getting "Sorry, we couldnt register you. Please confirm you have an internet connection and try again in a moment."

I have tried to delete the app and reinstall with no luck so far.

I'm having exactly the same problem, and receiving the same message back. At least, it's not related to my location, Sao Paulo, Brazil; My internet connection is "flying". Quite frustrating!

I've found a solution - at least for me it works now. It seems that the nickname had chosen wasn't ok (maybe already used by another person). I've changed it to something different and afterwards i could proceed.
Might be that the error message is a little bit misleading...

Can anyone please help me?? I don't know where else to ask! I put up a picture of my stomach and my account was disabled! Is there any way I can get it back?? I love this app so much and will be safer about the pics I use. My whole phone is blocked from the app... =[
