...or can you put it on the second line in a smaller font, so that it doesn't appear to belong to the title.

...or you can keep it as the software is free and I'm sure the developer is relying on the word of mouth to promote their product. I'm also sure your readers would love to know how they could take awesome pictures like yours.

I don't mind the link, I do mind that it is part of the title.

Agreed. Keep the credit but move it down so the title stands alone. Also, sometimes I post a picture I took with a different app (Camera+, Hipstamatic, etc.) and they aren't taken with Instagram. Maybe it should read "Posted by Instagram" instead for photos brought in vs. taken in app?

i had the same question - thanks for bringing this up.

i created a tumblr that is entirely comprised of instagram pics and i make that known on the page, so i don't really need each photo captioned that way. ;)

Sure would be great to get an answer on this. It can't be that hard to make a preference.

There needs to be an option to remove "Taken with Instragram" when posting to Tumblr from Instagram app.

The photos link to an Instagram page when you clicked them. "Taken with Instagram" is like if the Apple didn't give you the option to remove "Sent from my iPhone" from their Mail app.

Right now, it feels like a BBC Radio 1 DJ dropping "BBC Radio 1 World Exclusive" all over a song when you just want to listen to the song. (Not the best example but you get the point.)

I don't think anyone from Instagram is looking at this question. But I'd gladly pay for Instagram to have better control over the text that get's appended to each post.

It would be nice if Instagram gave us a "yes", "no" or "eff you" to let us know if this is going to happen.

My workaround: Take photo and filter with Instagram and then post filtered photo to Tumblr using Tumblr app not Instagram app.
