Just like the title says. I use it daily, so I'd love to see it integrated with instagram

I guess that could be easily done, by having an option to email images in Instagram. That would cover Tumblr, soup.io, etc... as well...

Yeah, I'd really really like this feature too - I'm trying to figure out a way to push from my Tumblr or Flickr to my main Posterous blog, but I don't think its possible at the moment

Posterous is really locked down to content being pushed towards it (I've had some frustrating moments trying to figure out how to get various sites to cross-post to it), I guess part of their desire to be the hub for content rather than just one of many destinations.

For simplicity I think derlinzer nailed it, share by email will allow us to forward our photos to almost any service we want.

The devs could even track the destination domain (just the @servicename.com) to see which one people are using most and use that info to determine which service (Posterous, Wordpress, Dailybooth, etc) is the next to be added as a specific sharing destination.

Hey there!

Share-by-email sounds like a great way of letting you all post to Posterous. We'll add that in the next release :)

Ability to use markdown in the email would be neat also.

I would like Posterous integration just like Tumblr has it :)

Please add that to the next release.

Posterous integration is essential! It'll take Instagram from a side activity to the medium in which my mobile-photo blog is published. Can't wait!

I'm with elecro_cute on this one, I personally would prefer the Posterous integration the be just like Twitter's, Facebook's, etc

At the moment its a bit clunky to post to multiple services, having it this way would be more streamlined?

Is this possible?

Just as an update on this topic --

Posterous integration will be included in the next version of the app -- you'll be able to share to Posterous just like you share to Facebook, Twitter, etc.

We hope to have the new version out shortly -- thanks for all the input on this!

I just tried the updated version of Post to Posterous and it worked :) just a couple of questions. For some reason my photo wasn't autoposted to the other accounts linked to my Posterous; does the Instagram app over-ride these in some way?

After I noticed this I went into my Posterous account and manually autoposted to all the other services I use - when the post was sent to Facebook it only posted a link to my wall and didn't include the photo - with other apps, such as the Twitter app, when I posting a photo it will add the photo to the "Mobile Uploads" album - is it possible to also do this?

From looking at the HTML code of posts sent from the Twitter app it seems they are wrapped inside the Posterous lightbox plugin, which I presume is how the photo is added to the Mobile Uploads album. It seems the Instagram photo is just wrapped in an IMG tag, could this be the problem?

When implimenting share by email, would there be a way to email multiple images to posterous in a single email?
