Hi,

Only downloaded the app yeasterday. Like it so far. There is one thing I would like to see and that is the ability to apply the filters to my pics and then save them to my camera roll.

Thanks

Paul

The image gets saved to your camera roll after you've posted it to Instagram.

But then it only saves the cropped and reduced picture...!? I would like to have the original saved first, without any alterations...

What I usually do now is take picture with the standard camera app, then load that in Instagram, apply a filter and then post it -- would be much nicer to have Instagram save the pics in the backrgound...

It's already able to do that: Settings app > Instagram > Save original photo

Agreed. I also find that if an image isn't what I wanted, it takes too long to get back to the camera to try again. The result is that I don't use it as a camera much anymore. I take pictures with the regular camera and then come back to this app to do the post-processing and posting. This way, I keep my originals, can take them fast so as to not miss anything, and I get all the EXIF/geotagging info I want.
