I've been using Instagram for a couple days now (love it). I test graphic programs for the company I work for so I tend to look for ways to improve automatically (from a user point of view, workflow...etc.). So I've taken some notes and if you've heard these already please forgive me.....
* auto note the filter used when the photo gets made/posted
* auto note the place if possible....I would love to know where some of this stuff is coming from!!!
* I have a need to see more of other peoples photos....and maybe not just the popular ones!
* IMPORTANT FOR ME.....ability to load the photos into shutterfly or snapfish and print. I tried this from my iphone. I can load them but when I click to order them in shutterfly, shutterfly freaks a bit because of the square size and resolution!!!!
* would LOVE to see more filters
* would PAY for more filters!!!!
* and somewhere to post questions within the app....although I found this site and it's great!!!!!
Would love to be involved in development/testing the stuff you guys come up with!!!!...I'm sure you've never heard that before!
Thanks!!!

While I generally agree with the more is more school of thought, especially where information about an image's processing and location is concerned, I don't want to make it easy for people to print -my- images.

As far as finding people whose work I enjoy looking at: popular is my friend. I look at the people who follow the popular kids and when I find someone whose stream is tasty, follow them.

Filters: I'm not very fond of instagram's choices. If it were set up so that only images taken through the app could be uploaded, I might feel differently about that, but I'm really not a filter kind of guy.
