Why is my Archive LP playing back slow?

On my ion Archive LP player, everything plays slow. Help! The belt? But i can't replace myself...is there a way to fix or should i just try to return it?

    Thanks for posting. I'd like to help! First make sure you have selected the correct speed on from the available speed options. If you are using the correct speed setting there is a manual motor adjustment on the bottom of the turntable. Find the screw hole marked with the current speed. Using a narrow phillips head screw driver, turn the speed screw to the right to increase the speed or to the left to slow the speed down. If you have trouble finding the screw head try inserting the screw driver in at an angle. Try this out and let me know how it goes.

  • Thanks so much, this worked!!! The screws are underneath a rubber covering though that you have to pop out and then underneath what looks like styrofoam so you don't actually see the screw but it worked! I would say 2 full rotations got me back to what sounds right. Thank you again for the great advice!
