I’m unconcerned

Can I get my ION turntable to work in Debian Linux?

Just setup Debian Linux on my home desktop, and I would like to use my ION turntable to be able to record onto linux. Audactiy seems to have support for this scenario, but I was getting errors that were causing the sound to not play in a way that was recordable to audacity. It's an older ION turntable, but I feel like it should still be working in this context....
It's the Portbale USB Turntable - Vinyl Archiver
Works with your easy archiver software on other OS and have had great success with it in the past, would love to see it working on Debian, but I won't be too heartbroken, since I can just use my Mac.

  • Hi Andres,

    Thanks for posting.

Since Audacity is a third-party software that's not made or supported by us, I'm not sure if this will work on Linux. However, I am seeing a lot of information online that suggests it might. I would suggest contacting them directly for confirmation, though. Since the Classic LP uses a standard USB connection, you should be able to use it on virtually any operating system.
