How to fix TWS connection issues?

Hello, I own two IPA76c units. They always had a certain problem which seems to have gotten significantly worse since I last used them:

When they are both linked via TWS, the connection seems not to work reliably.
Audio quality on the secondary speaker is horrible (lots of static/distortion) and about every 10-15 seconds both speakers just go silent for a second. Obviously, this makes it impossible to listen to music - or anything really.

Intrestingly, everything works just fine with eiher one of the speakers used by themselves. So the problem definitely lies with the TWS. The complete silence every 15 seconds is probably the speakers readjusting the stream - which would be ok to happen once an hour.

I tried pairing/unpairing/repairing all devices involved multiple times and put them all right next to each other - the results remain the same.

So to summarize: I currently can't use my Block Rockers the way I intended to, which was the actual selling point for me.
So, is there any way to create a more stable connection between the BT device and the two speakers (e.g. use a certain version of bluetooth?)

    This likely sounds like a hardware issue. However, can you please confirm that the speakers are not more than 30' away from each other and that there are no obstructions (other devices, objects, or walls) between both speakers? If this is the case, you may need to service your product.
