I’m frustrated

Mysterious ticking noise...

I have just got an Ion Air LP turntable and there is a continuous loud ticking noise whenever I move the arm over and the table starts moving. This happens wether there’s a record on there or not! The noise only occurs through the headphone aux and over Bluetooth. It is plugged into a three prong power supply so grounded fine. The noise really ruins the sound!

  • Hi Louis,

    Thanks for posting!

Is this a continuous ticking noise? It seems to me like something may be causing the belt mechanism to cause the sound. I would remove the turntable's platter check the belt for anything that may be causing this ticking noise. If you are unable to resolve the issue, your product may need to be serviced.
