I’m frustrated

Only one channel is working

I have an Ion Max LP and only one channel is working. There is no sound out of the left speaker, no sound out of left headphone when using headphones and no sound out of left headphone from a digital recording when played back on a laptop.

    Thanks for posting. 

    First, make sure you're using the latest version of EZ Vinyl Tape Converter, which can be downloaded from the link here: https://www.ionaudio.com/ezvc. Uninstall the current version you have installed on your computer before installing the update. 

     Are you using a Windows or Mac computer? Is it a desktop or a laptop? If a desktop, please try to connect your turntable to the USB ports on the back of your desktop. If a laptop, please connect the turntable to the USB ports near your power adapter. This will ensure the Max LP is getting the correct amount of power it needs to operate. If this still gives you issues, try with another USB cable and another pair of headphones. 

    I would also make sure your audio settings are configured properly on your computer by going through the steps in this guide here

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply however the problem is not when recording to a laptop.

    The left speaker on the turntable is not working when playing any record. If I plug headphones into the turntable the left headphone doesnt have any sound either.

    As extra information this problem also occurs when recording onto a laptop but this is not the main issue.

    • OK, if that's the case, this is likely a hardware-related unit, which would require service. Warranty and non-warranty claims are not handled here on the forum, but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

      • Submit a Warranty or Service inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Numark Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu.

      or

      • For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office or International Distributor.

    I Just found out I have the same issue with the right speaker. I blame my bluetooth speakers only to find out it's an issue with the player itself. Have you found a solution for this issue?
