I’m frustrated

Video Forever - No video signal detected?

I have just purchased Video Forever. I have installed drivers and software and linked my laptop to my video player. I have set the menus as directed. I then set the video playing and pressed "capture", but I get the message "no vide signal detected". I have re-checked all my connections and also tried a different USB port, but still I get the same message. Any ideas please? M

    Thanks for posting. What operating system are you using with your Video Forever? Have you tried using another computer? Make sure you're connecting your Video Forever to your computer prior to launching the software, and that you're selecting USB2.0 VIDBOX FW from the Source menu.

    I have installed the software on my laptop and my desktop. Both were upgraded to Windows 10, but both installed the software successfully and allow it to operate. Both recognise the video which was connected prior to launching Video Forever. I also very carefully went through each menu to ensure I had the right settings but both came up with the "no video signal detected". I then took advice from my service provider and they advised that I should run the programme in compatibility mode and choose Windows 7 (the laptops previous version), but again I still get the same message. Sadly this is the second ion produce that I have purchased this year that is failing to operate. I do hope you can assist. Many thanks. Marcelle
