Changed reply in topic of Learning curve? by Amy Smith to Write to support at team@iqtell.com and ask to be part of the beta. The interface is much simpler and easier to navigate. The whole new interface is being released on april 10. That being said, IQTell has great documentation so spend some time in the knowledge base reading and watching anything related to using the GTD system with IQTell. This will help you develop your own workflow. It takes a while to get "black belt" (as David Allen says) with GTD and I'm just learning too, but I've had big payoffs already in what I have implemented. Keep going because the reward in peace of mind and efficiency is worth the initial time and energy investment. Also, if you haven't read it, get David Allen's book in its updated version. Very helpful. Also, I have tried watered down versions of GTD in other apps and nothing else compares to IQTell. It is unique..

Changed reply in topic of IQTell - Our new web app by JBC to Dear IQTELL Team,

Congratulations on a great job with the new web app. Here's my suggestion for improvement: please go back to the basics of GTD. For every email and unprocessed item there should be a sequence of questions: (1) What is it? [multiple choice]; (2) Is it actionable? [yes/no] ; (3) Does it take less than 2 minutes? [yes/no]; etc. These questions should appear fullscreen; after the last question in a sequence is answered, the item/email should be exactly where it belongs (next actions/tickler files, etc.), and out of our minds. GTD is a kind of algorithm, so a literal translation into an app seems like a necessary and obvious thing to do. Still, even IQTELL, the best GTD software out there, misses this. I'll call it "autopilot mode"; it would obviously do the simple job of translating the GTD method into a web app with as few clicks as possible, and absolutely no distractions from the immediate task - i.e. nothing else is visible on the screen but the current step in the process, plus a "Cancel" button. I hope the IQTELL Team takes the opportunity to allow us to use this powerful app in a really simple way..
