Add ability to buy more than one iTunes and Onkyo module

Currently there is an issue where only one iTunes or Onkyo module can be purchased per license. Why is that? Is it possible to offer the ability to have more than one of each module in a license?

Think of having an Onkyo receiver in the family room, master bedroom, and kids room. If 3 Onkyo modules can be used per license then each Onkyo receiver may or may not have the same pandora account assigned to it. Also the same iPad file for example can be used on all the families' iPads so that everyone can access any area of the house.

Same goes for iTunes module. Let's say you have more than one mac in the equipment location so that Dad's iTunes music can selected and played in the whole house audio system but at another time the kids can select the other mac to play in the whole house audio. One mac for dad's music and another mac for the kids. BUT the key is that only one iPad file handset has to be created to access either mac (iTunes module)

    Will,
Modules are purchased per handset. Once you have purchased the module and activated it per handset there is a lot that you can do.

Like you said if you have multiple Onkyo's what you can do is listed below.
    1. Drag & Drop modules onto the pages you want
    2. Right click on Integra Module device
    3. Copy Device
    4. Paste Device as many times as you have separate receivers (3 times would = 4 receivers) since you already have Integra Module device as the default.
    5. Rename all secondary Integra Modules accordingly (they need renamed so that you know which is which).
    6. In the panels window - expand an Integra Module (I'll use Master Bed as example)
    7. Right Click on the Device Command Attached to that module
    8. Delete that device
    9. Drag & Drop the device from your Devices tab that matches the Master Bedroom.
    10. Save & Sync
    11. Set up your gateways accordingly. You should be able to attach the Integra Module Master Bedroom to the same gateway as the Integra Master Bedroom device.

    I hope that this helps.

    Thanks,
    Tim

  • No. Currently you can only have one gateway for iTunes modules.
