Hello,
I currently use the "Prevent System Lock" setting so that I didn't have to unlock the screen each time. But the drawback is that it decreases the autonomy of the battery.
To avoid this I would like to add a command that would manually lock the system. My idea would be to launch this command when powering OFF all the devices.
Indeed most of the time I want to be able to use the remote immediatly when using a device but on my point of vue their is no big constraint having to unlock the remote to wake up the system that is controled.
Charles.

Maybe I am missing something here, but why not just lock the device manually with the top button when you need to?

Sorry if I'm not clear: the goal would be to associate this command with the "power off all devices" button that I have implemented in my handset.
By doing this I would always be sure putting my remote control into the sleep mode when I power off all the devices and consequently it would save the battery of my remote.
That's what I currently try to do (manually) but sometimes I forget to push the top button. -

Was there ever any more thought to this? I like to set "prevent system lock" but often come back to a dead iPad because I forgot to sleep the device.

That's exactly the problem I encounter each time I forget to exit from iRule or to sleep my device.

Hi,
I found a workaround solution: you add the "launch application" command to your power off bouton. You just have to choose any application that does not prevent your phone or tablet to lock. I chose the "clock" and since then my phone battery lasts much more than before! -
