Multiple devices controlled with a single button?

I would like to have my power amp turn on when I turn on my Yamaha preamp. My power amp is controlled via my Isy 994i, and my preamp is controlled via ip.Is this possible? If so how do i do that?

Thanks

Easy! The combination is, in iRule language, a "macro." Just drag the relevant commands onto the button. You will find that a suitable delay is inserted between them to allow one to complete before the next one executes.

It is the same process as a channel-change button that might have 3 digits dragged in from the STB Device driver, except that the commands are dragged from different Devices.

    April,

I made a demo page for you. I only did 2 of the 4 lights(?), but you get the idea. This Image shows the ExternalOn button. Click the image to enlarge it. Scroll back to exit.

    This is the ExternalOff button.

Double-click the ExternalOn button to see how it is programmed.

Double-click the ExternalOff button to see its programming.

I have also shared the Panel, named Select Deslect. In Builder's upper left corner, click the grey arrow pointing down, and click "Browse Panels." Click the Community Tab. In "Look For", enter Select Deselect.
