Pop-up Possibilities

Is it possible to create a button that opens a small window on my existing page instead of using a drawer? For example if I am watching tv and would like to play music in another room on zone 2 of my receiver, I would like to just press a button in one of my drawers and have a pop up window open on my current page that would allow me to toggle controls for zone 2 instead of it linking me to a different page.

Currently there is no way to bring up a pop window for control. You could open a drawer 100% with controls in the middle of the page to simulate the pop-up and once you hit a return, exit or back button close the drawer using variables.

If you are already using the drawers for that page you can fake a popup. Take a screen shot of the page and use that for the background of a new page then add an overly that is semi transparent around the popup part with actual buttons in the middle. then when the changes are made and you close the popup it simply takes you back to the original page. I have done this before and it gives the same effect as a windows popup. With some fine tunning of the transparent background the end user will never know that the buttons faded out in the background are simply an image representation of the previous page.
