Video Mudule - Nexus 7 - TrendNet Composite - IP encoder

I recently purchased the Video Module for my Google Nexus 7 panels. My desire is to incorporate the output of a Trednet TV-VS1 composite video to IP encoder in some of my panels. I've got an Elan DVDJ DVD carousel controller that uses a composite video signal to display its status panel and I thought it would be much slicker to have the control and feedback for the DVDJ on my control tablet as opposed to up on the TV screen toggling back and forth between it and the actual video content.

Admittedly the TV-VS1 is a bit quirky, however it does talk MJPEG as well as H.264, MPEG4, and 3GPP the latter three over RTSP.

I can get the MJPEG to appear in a browser

(obviously basic authentication is active)

I've tried all sorts of configurations to get the stream to appear in the Video Module window, but thus far no luck. All I get is the "Unable to Display Video Stream" message.

Any ideas?
