GetSatisfaction question: how filter topics by tag?

hi -- sorry if this isn't the right place to post but I don't know where to post this.

We are prompted to add tags to our topics, but is there any way or anywhere to pull up topics (i.e., filter them) by tag?

I'm helping Kevin Silver gather up all issues affecting Locals, and it would be great to be able to pull them up by tag.

thanks
Susan

  • I’m glad to help, but it's still a workaround.

Regarding the getsatisfaction site, yes: When you view a topic, you can chain to other topics. In the right hand column underneath the mood widget is Products and Services, and below that is "This topic is tagged". You can click on any tag in that section to get a list of topics with that tag.

There doesn't seem to be a good task-based central starting point for tags, like a pool in which you can accumulate tags that are of interest, and then messages of interest based on those tags. To cover all the messages relevant to a subject, you have to log the tags in the messages you encounter, then go back to those messages in order to make sure that you link to the messages that have those tags.
