I am working on an Android app to convert Last.fm "radio" to a Spotify playable stream, or make a playlist. This is my thread to share my adventures with this

Currently, I have a basic UI setup of something like:

I am currently having issues with the Spotify Android SDK, but once I get those resolved, you all should have a fully functioning mobile radio!!!!!

One thing to note that may be a downside for you all:
THIS DOES NOT SCROBBLE

I intend to add Spotify Connect functionality later down the road, so if you want to use another device to scrobble that will be an option

Unfortunately, this is a one-man project. I am a full-time student, so this isn't really a priority. Once the app has the main functionality, it will go live on the Google Play store for $1.99, to support the time I've put into this

Even so, here are the things I wish to add to the app:
- Spotify Connect
- Google Play Music as a playback option
- Saved preferences for your Last.fm username (so as to not have to type it everytime)
- A seekable playback bar
- Cover Art Display
- Notification playback control (as it will play in the background while open)
- Ability to generate a playlist from the radio

Have a good day

Okay guys, I have the app uploaded to the Play Store. Just waiting approval.
It's version 0.1 so bear with me.
In this version there is playback, but you must manually traverse the queue, I'm working on fixing that. So, once a song has finished playing, you just press the next button to continue.
Due to the fact this is only me, I'll be charging 99 cents for the app.
Be sure to download, review, and post here if you have further questions!

Sounds cool. Do you have to have Spotify premium? I have one but for others interested.
EDIT: never mind, I see your app in the store and that yes a premium account is required

Here's the link
I intend to work more on improving features here shortly. As Play Music is going to stop being a thing, I intend to put a bit more work into this app before they merge Play Music with YouTube in an effort to get Spotify more accessible as a Last.fm radio.

Thanks for linking it, however, i'm still on Android 6 so I'll wait to update before trying it.

Hello Joshua! I don't know if the app includes it, but I'm looking forward on a way of making a Spotify playlist from the loved tracks of Last.fm. Is there a chance of you including it on the app and synchronised with the Last.fm profile or it's too much asking already! Thank you anyway, I will buy your app right now!

I'm going to be trying to add these features soon. As of right now, the app isn't really in a great state. It's basically a very simple "on-demand" player. It's also my first ever Android app, so bear with me.
Ultimately the original idea was to make it a Playlist generator, so that's still on the radar for sure. Don't forget to check here often to see if I update this soon. Hope you like the app so far, despite it's extremely basic feature set right now
