Just got word it's an issue with our netscaler / load balancing which is affecting the api (and scrobbles submissions). Our engineers are looking into this, and we should have more information soon.  Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime. :/

It looks like we're having issues with the api again, which in turn is affecting scrobbling. :|  Sorry for the disruption, our engineers are continuing to look into this for you.

I'm sorry to say we're experiencing difficulties with the api again, and this may affect scrobbling.  Thanks for bearing with us, I realise this is incredibly frustrating.

The problem was finally identified and a fix was deployed late last week.  We're going to continue to monitor performance, but we believe the issue is now resolved.
