Apostrophe differences

Is it possible for last.fm to autocorrect songs with different apostrophes so they scrobble as the same song? e.g. Imagine Dragons - I’m So Sorry and Imagine Dragons - I'm So Sorry seem like they should be combined as they are the same song, the only difference is the apostrophe.
It has been raised before but I can’t find a definitive answer; is this something the last.fm team would consider fixing? If so, would each song need to be raised separately?

Hi Charlie! Staff are aware of this problem, as well as the one with ` as an apostrophe and the one with ASCII characters (as reported most recently here) as well. Autocorrections, when they are possible again (we can't make them at the moment), would fix this by allowing both titles to be merged to the more conventional apostrophe.

I don't know if there's plans to make a more thorough fix to hard merge such cases, but I do know that such a method wouldn't be possible until the ongoing catalogue work is completed, which will be a step toward bringing back autocorrections and is a work in progress.

I've noticed this with some of the tracks I scrobble that use a different apostrophe to what is standard. One example is this song title - "Can ́t Heal You" & "Can't Heal You". Obviously the latter has a lot more listeners & is the title attached to its relevant album listing on Last.fm. I don't intend to change the improper apostrophe as this would introduce inconsistencies in my scrobbles. It'll be good when these apostrophe inconsistencies can be autocorrected & merged.
