Two years passed away since you launch BETA, are you planning to return the old Last.FM forum back? I hope official music site won't be without an official forum forever. I miss the days when you could visit an official forum chat, post announcement about music or start a conversation related to discography or personal life problems. I'm not sure if you could do something like that when it comes to politics, or you could, I don't know. Anyway, are you planning to return that back one day?

No, it isn't. This is for bug reports and feature requests.

Some work is already done. The first step of recreating the groups was the new shout boxes. So we will finally get threading in group discussions.

I hope the groups will be back in a next sprint. They miss me a lot.

Once the work on shoutboxes was a good argument for the long wait. But the step is finished since when? 1 year? Now we're still waiting and there's no process based argument to delay the installation of groups anymore.

LFM is NOT LFM without an official forum, groups, journals, and unlimited "About Me" category. YouTube service died when Google Company has asked hundreds of millions of members to create a Google+ account so they can post their comments and other common activities that YouTube member used to do.

Is there any news about this? It's been six months since I received a response from the moderator.

No new  comments = no news. Seems obvious to me.

No we're not, as there's already a subreddit for general last.fm / music discussions. https://www.reddit.com/r/lastfm/

You should! You cannot take something that used to be a part of the Community for 12 years just like that.

I agree, remember just what happened to YouTube service when Google Company has asked hundreds of millions of members to create a Google+ account so they can post their comments and other common activities that YouTube member used to do. Millions of users got angry at what Google Inc. did.
