Auto-correct.

I disabled auto-correct in the profile settings. But in my library lists of artists, albums and tracks still are fixed. I have no way to see my library without auto-correction?

I like the auto-correct function. But why the disable button if auto-correct is not disabled.

Really, when is this going to be fixed? I have autocorrection, and it is disabled in settings, but my scrobbles are still being autocorrected.

I do not use, nor have I ever used the auto-correct... and yet, last.fm decides to MERGE many of my freakin' tracks. Even artist like Septic Flesh, that I have NEVER scrobbled as Septicflesh!

Scrobbling and having my charts in order, is LITERALLY the only reason why I'm still on this website since it all went to shit... so I'd be very much obliged if last.fm could just kindly STOP TOUCHING MY FUCKING TAGS!!

Just to echo the above,  the "enable/disable auto-correct" button in settings is non-functional, as auto-correct is always enabled no matter what you choose. Frustrating. Can this be addressed asap?

ASAP? JUST FORGET ABOUT IT! People constantly writing about it and still no any signs of progress in this direction.

They don't even seem to realize that one and the same song can actually be OFFICIALLY spelled/tagged (slightly) different on a demo or EP, than on the eventual full-length album. Demo versions that also musically tend to differ a lot from the final product... but hey, don't let that bother you while enforcing this idiotic auto-correct on everyone.

I don't think the staff is intending to force auto-correct, it actually seems like disabling auto-correct is meant to be working since they included the option, but is merely non-functional. Which means they better fix it soon and stop having fake settings that don't work just to give us false hope!

Auto correct is a mess. I just had Sate (yes, that's the artist's name) to Erik Satie. Why the farrrghh is this even happening? How many imbeciles can't spell Satie (not even considering the man is not Cher and has a first name) and have skewed the system that way? Goddamn.

EDIT: sonofabitch just did it again, switched all my Stacey scrobbles to Stacey Q.

Funny how this shit doesn't seem to apply to the album titles... which is basically the only thing the auto correct is useful for. Users have been requesting an album tag "editor" for ages.

This is still broken and the auto correct keeps correcting my tags from Musicbrainz to wrong corrections.
