Bring back the ability to delete recommended artists

in the recommended artists tab there seems to be no way to delete artists. this would be nice because the system still recommends artists after they've been added to your library, even after 20 or so plays. there also seem to be significantly less recommended artists, the old site could generate five pages of artists, there's only one here

p.s. it's very telling that in the "meet some of the experts" sections 2/3 "official reps" have zero posts

Agreed. Even with new artists, I go through and look into some of the recommendations, realize I don't like them, but have no way of getting rid of them.

All my recommendations are mistagged stuff, for example pages of two artists who only made 1 song together. I don't want to scrobble them that way so i want to be able to delete them. And where are the full recommendations even?

Same here. I also miss the option to get recommendations for specific genres.

Going through the recommendations was what I loved most about last.fm. Sad I can't delete crap I don't like, and even sadder there is only one page of said crap.

And without going to the artist's page, you could see if it's fresh new or you already have a few scrobbles of this. Was neat and useful.

It would be good to be able to delete recommendations other than artists too, if I've got thirty albums by John Doe in my library it would be nice to get it to stop letting me know that I've never scrobbled John Doe's Greatest Hits.

I loved going to my recommendations but it is pretty boring now. There are not that many artists displayed anymore, and I also miss tags near their icons so I can skip genres where I am not interested in.
I also don't like that you cannot delete the recommendations that I already saw. I currently have 2 bands in my recommendations who I already got in my library. And the rest are just bands where I am not interested in.

The ability to dismiss recs is planned for the near future.

This needs to happen now. My main (only?) reason for using last.fm is to discover new artists, and if I can't delete the stuff I don't like from my recommendations page it clogs it up and makes it even less usable. When I had an account years ago I would go through many pages of the recommendations to favorite or delete artists, but the current recommendations page is lacking in every conceivable way compared to the old.

1) site suggests me stuff that already in my library.
2) similars often aren't similar. What about vote system for similars?

7 months later: Is the "near future" here soon?
If not, any official update about the current status?

Naturally it's not happened yet - it's still the present.

With this timeframe, I can say I will be graduating in the near future, lol. Please, make bringing this back a priority!
