What is the status of cached scrobbles?  Will these eventually scrobble?  There are a couple of  people who have said that theirs have scrobbled.  The Admin have said we should uninstall and reinstall the client but we lose our cached scrobbles.  There are messages all over the place.  I wish the Mods would have one stickied thread detailing all existing issues.  What do we do with the cached scrobbles?  Do we wait for them to eventually go through?  Will they?  And what about deleting and reinstalling the client....did that work for future scrobbles?  I honeslty don't know what to think.

Everything is such a mess.  Can we have some communication here?

My cached scrobbled just got scrobbled however I lost about 50% of them in the process. At least everything is scrobbling now, but I'm going to see what happens.

I can scrobble from my computer, but plays from my Ipod classic are cached and still aren't added to my page. SO frustrating.

Tried all their "fixes".  Lost 4 days of listening, I'm over it, but new scrobbles are cached again. Will it ever work again? I'm disgusted.

Last.fm, stop deceiving people. Submissions status is NOT OK. Desktop Scrobbler 2.1.37, Winamp, Win7. Official reply is what we need. Your fixes had been tried.

I would like an official reply about this and at least a "we're working on it." Nothing has scrobbled for me since Monday evening. Don't make me regret getting a subscription!

My scrobbles (from desktop, Windows 7) are still stuck in cache. The scrobbler now displays erroneous cover-art when you look at the list of scrobbles by the way - a new error to add to the huge list of stuff that's screwed up?

My android can scrobble, but my Last.fm scrobbler at my desktop won't scrobble for these past few days. I wonder why official scrobbler is busted, while the unofficial android scrobbler works fine.

Please Last.fm. Give an official statement about the current situation.
Nothing works.
Scrobbling must be the first thing to be solved. Its the most important thing here.
A reaction will be nice

My Last.Fm desktop scrobbler won't submit tracks, it just caches them, for several days now.  Neither Winamp nor iTunes scrobbles... Spotify will scrobble, but I want to be able to scrobble from my iPod, WTF

Haven't been able to scrobble from iTunes since Tuesday. Why has there been no update? Submissions aren't even listed as "critical," but this is clearly affecting a lot of people.

It's broken again today, even though it had worked the past two days.

I had this issue with cached scrobbles with iTunes. The problem appears to be a *quantity* issue. I had some 150 tracks in my cache file, and they would just refuse to scrobble. I tried to find out which track was causing the issue - I made a backup of the cache file, killed the desktop scrobbler, and would make a new cache file with just some of the tracks from my backup.

When starting the desktop scrobbler, one of the first things it does is to suck in the cache file and try to submit what's in it to Last.fm. What I discovered is that if that file was like over 7 or 8kb large, nothing would scrobble from the cache. At first I thought there was a problem track buried in there somewhere, but it turned out not to be the case.

For anyone that, like me, has OCD problems, I recommend you copy your current cache file somewhere safe for the meantime until Last.fm gets their head outta...well, until the issue is fixed.

Probably a dumb question, but how do I find my cache file to copy it?

Mac OS X + iTunes 12 isn't working either, cached everything.   It posts the 'listening' but then when it goes to submit it 'caches' and it disappears from listening.

My computer has been off for a few days due to a hardware failure, I just plugged it all back together this afternoon and everything from my phone, and listening from all day is cached.  I've restarted a few times, restarted the client.

Being Monday, I thought we would get some news about this.  At least an acknowledgement.  Nothing.  We need to fix this.  It's one of the site fundamentals!!
