Can the 'Loved tracks' data be recorded only via Last.fm?

Last.fm supports many applications such as Apple music, Spotify, etc., and I was wondering if loving or rating tracks on other applications can be reflected on Last.fm. For example, if I love a track while listening to music on Apple Music, are there any ways to count that as 'Loved Track' on Last.fm too? Or do I have to love tracks on Last.fm separately?

That depends on the client.

Thank you for your reply. To ask more specifically, do you know which existing client supports such function?

I haven't done extensive research on the subject, but it appears Clementine has that functionality.

If you use the QuietScrob app on iOS it will "love" any tracks that are rated 5 star
