Cannot Unlove Particular Track

My username is Tahula:

I cannot unlove one particular track, this one here on my Loved Tracks page called "Be My Baby (feat. Cashmere Cat)" and here is it's own song URL. When I go to the song URL I linked, the track is not displayed as loved on the right corner of the page, however remains loved on my Loved Tracks page. I try to unlove it on my Loved Tracks page by clicking on the red heart, it clears out for a moment, but the red heart appears back immediately.

I searched for this issue and found out it can be the result of autocorrected track name, but neither "Be My Baby" nor "Be My Baby [Feat. Cashmere Cat]" tags are loved, I could not resolve this issue on my own as I am unable to find another tag to check at.

Quite odd and frustrating I must say, looking forward for a resolve.

Do we really have to beg for help for weeks in order to receive any kind of feedback? :(

Can you please tell me which track page to unlove in order to have this track gone from my Loved Tracks list? As unloving "Be My Baby (feat. Cashmere Cat)" doesn't work I'm assuming the issue has to do with another track page, redirection and so on.

I now have zero scrobbles of "https://www.last.fm/music/Ariana+Grande/_/Be+My+Baby+(feat.+Cashmere+Cat)" and "https://www.last.fm/music/Ariana+Grande/_/Be+My+Baby" yet the issue remains.

Drat. :(

It looks like the same issue as this one:

https://getsatisfaction.com/lastfm/topics/cant-delete-a-track-from-favorites-and-cant-remove-my-tags...

But I can't see an obvious correction here.

I've asked our developers, but in the meantime, can you please try loving / unloving:

I'm very sorry Tahula, our devs say there's no workaround until the root cause is fixed (which is being tackled by rebuilding the backend service causing this and other problems).

I guess I'm very unlucky, every other user with the same issue got to get rid of their bugged loved track by unloving the related tags. Sadly not the case for me as of yet.

I found one more variation (https://www.last.fm/music/Ariana+Grande+feat.+Cashmere+Cat/_/Be+My+Baby) but it didn't work. I'm stuck there, I don't actually see any other variation for this track.

I don't seem to understand how this track can contain a bigger problem than all the previous cases which got solved by going through related tags.

Nevertheless I appreciate your interest in this resolve.

It's quite complicated to explain and very case specific. Here's a more detailed explanation (with examples) of a similar issue caused by the same problem: https://getsatisfaction.com/lastfm/topics/doubled-artists-scrobbles-appearing-but-only-in-visualisat...

From what I understand, it's to do with corrections that were applied sometime in 2014 - 2015, probably during the time when we had both the old Last.fm site and the beta running for subscribers simultaneously.  I think certain artist / track corrections were applied on the old site, and not migrated properly to the new site, or vice versa. But that's just speculation on my part.

For a number of reasons, we've determined that the best solution is just to rebuild the whole scrobble storage database, which is what we're doing now, and is estimated to take us until around mid-Feb to complete (at the earliest, if I'm being pessimistic).  On the upside, early indications from the datateam and QA suggest that this problem is already fixed on the new scrobble db, so once that work is deployed next year, this problem and others should finally be put to rest.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled unloved over 1,000 tracks but 2 still won't unlove.

User name: MrMooGert
Recently I noticed I had a lot of crap in my loved tracks, so I unloved them all but 2 tracks are still there and refuse to go
https://www.last.fm/music/The+Material/_/Skin+and+Bone
https://www.last.fm/music/Velvet+Revolver/_/Sucker+Train+Blues
Is there a solution?
Many thanks
