The past few days I've noticed that I can't add artwork to any new album. Is this problem currently being worked on?

Hi Ben,

There are currently no known issues uploading artwork, or have been in the past months.

However, if you are experiencing an issue, I am going to need more information to be able to help you to solve the issue.

Account username and last.fm page that contain the release you are not able to upload images for please?

For example in my album list from the last 7 days, there are a few new albums (e.g. Modern Times...), where no artist is given (it was Luigi Dallapiccola), and it's a mere text, I cannot click on it. The album information doesn't seem to be attached to the scrobbles.

So I don't think the problem is with uploading artwork per se, instead it's that the album page hasn't been created yet.

Is it going to get solved automatically in a few hours or days? I'd guess so, but it'd be nice if you looked into it, because in the past they got created instantly.

Ah!,  thanks Reiner. That makes total sense.

During the past two days, an issue has arisen which is stopping from pages being generated for new items in the catalogue (new artists, new albums and new tracks)

Again, apologies about the hiccup.

Yeah, this is exactly the issue. I did wonder if it was a problem with new albums being created or a problem with uploading artwork.

I had similar issues, and not always with new albums ("new" meaning recent released).
I mean, I scrobbled some songs, and in the recent history list nor the artist name, nor the song title were clickable.
And this on several occasions, not related to this recent hiccup.

So, I preferred to simply remove the scrobble from the library (page of scrobbles) and ... just wait some time, days even, and try again.
I just hated the situation and preferred to remove them.
Usually, after that wait time scrobbling again DID worked.

Same here, it's not possible to upload artworks for new albums. After listening to new stuff my profile looks like shit because of the missing album covers.

Is this problem being worked on? I've had several plays of new albums, including my own band's, that I can't add the artwork too. The songs and album name just stay un-clickable. Same thing applies to new artists aswell.

The problem was fixed for a few days. As far as I can tell though, it's broken again.

HI Trismegistos,

This is an unrelated issue. Album covers and band images are not available due to certain legal restrictions imposed on last.fm by King Crimson's Management

Well ... I experience this problem again, now.
With this new album:  http://music.tunguskagrooves.com/album/point-cape-fligely-part-1-day
Just started to play it, and scrobbled already 2 songs from it.
For now, there's no page added from this album (if I manually try to go to this page: http://www.last.fm/music/Tunguska+Electronic+Music+Society/Point:+Cape+Fligely.+Part+1.+Day
I get the "404 - Page not found" error.
And obviously, I can't upload any cover image, since there's no page to upload to.

Does this "hiccup" manifests itself again ? :-)

P.S. The scrobbled songs from this album I have them "not clickable" in my library, and the same in the recent "Recent tracks" list.

Thanks, @Pellitero.

Either the problem is solved now, or simply it took longer than I expected (1 hour though);
anyway, now when I'm writing this I can see that album's page, with my scrobbled songs to it; and also can add the cover image, and wiki.
