Can't edit my scrobbles

I'm a subscriber and on first few days after my subscription I was able to edit my scrobbles, but now editing doesn't work. After I confirm the changes (for example adding an album) website will accept it, but when I refresh the page, all the changes I made disappear. It annoys me, because I paid for subscription only for this editing service.

Hi Piotr, sorry to hear you're having trouble with edits -- is it still not working for you? (even if you refresh the page)  If so, can you please tell me your username and the track(s) you were trying to edit?

There was a problem with edits earlier this morning, but that should have cleared up now.

It seems to me that it is "bulk editing" that causes the mistake. When I edit one by one it works...

Same.  One track at a time works just fine, but bulk appears to work on screen but does not make the change.

Exact same issue for me. Single edits are working properly, but bulk edits aren't going through. User name is 'clups'.

Yes, bulk edit does not work for me, neither.
One by one, though, works OK (but, obviously, is painfully slow...).

Also, maybe it is related: bulk delete also does not seem to work.
Deleting scrobbles one by one, again, does work !

Same here. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the scrobbles I can edit that stick and the ones that won't. I subscribed last week and have had to edit hundreds of scrobbles and most of them work fine but more and more it's getting to where they won't work.

Also, can anyone that has access to the database tell me if these scrobble edits are just changing on the front end? I use musicbee to sync my playcounts and loves down to my local library and none of the edits I've done in the past week have reflected when I pull a sync operation. I hope I'm not doing all this work for nothing.

No, it's not a front end thing.  If the edit has gone through (refresh the page to make sure), it's treated it as if you re-scrobbled it.

Looks like there is a local playcount cache file that musicbee uses to grab this data from and it only updates it on new scrobbles, not edited ones. The file is located at C:\Users\%username%\Appdata\Local\Musicbee\Lastfmplaycountcache.dat. If you delete that then pull a new sync operation from musicbee it'll grab the accurate playcounts.

Same problem for me. Definitely finding that bulk edits don’t hold, but have also just had a problem saving single edits. I am Eejay60. I was trying to correct an album title - Battlefield Band: Anthem for the Comman Man (which should be Anthem for the Common Man).

Just another subscriber with the same problem...again.  Bulk edits not working, but one-at-a-time seems to be working, though terribly inefficient.

I have the same problem. I've just started a subscription only for scrobbles editing but I can't edit any. I've read your post and started editing one by one but nothing changed. There's still scrobbles for a wrong artist/album. What can I do?
Update: OK, I managed to do it but I beg Last.fm to fix bulk editing - it's hard to edit hundreds of scrobbles!

We're currently experiencing both a problem with bulk edits and scrobbling this morning (both use the same database), so I recommend holding off editing for the next hour or so, while the problem with scrobbling stabilises and charts catch up.   Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this.

Seems to work again, my recent bulk edits were all saved to my library. You can check this by hard refreshing the library page which shows the edited scrobbles.
