The community moderator provided the following reason for archiving: Duplicate, being discussed here: has very poor capitalization standards.  When you add a new song to the database, if it's in English, then standard rules of English title capitalization should be applied.  If there is a compelling reason for nonstandard capitalization of a title, then this should be an override, handled by special request, or god forbid, user input.

I hope Last.Fm fixes the capitalization problems soon, it's really starting to bug me how there's not even a request thread for it.

I think uses the capitalisation used by the first scrobble.
There used to be a moderator tool to fix caps issues, but it's not available now.

I've noticed this especially with newer albums, like Adele's "25" and Daughter's "Not to Disappear." It's really distracting when I look at my library and it makes the tracks seem disorganized - I hope Lastfm fixes this soon, although this is Lastfm, so I suppose we'll be dealing with this for months if not years to come. :(

It's the users who don't give a shit sometimes or decide to use their "funny" capitalisation when scrobbling an album or track for the first time. Automatic correction might happen with the catalogue "normalisation" which is currently in the works, but I haven't heard anything concrete about it yet.

How is this still broken? How are tags like this even arising? This came out today and I'm positive no one has scrobbled the album name like that.
