CBS Manage Settings Updated, yet red button still annoys my eyes

As in description - "Manage Settings" button told me there are new cookies or whatever, by showing red notification.

I clicked, thought "okay, nothing interesting here but let's do our homework and accept these cookies", I did what I usually do, and closed the window.

Refreshed site, and red notification is still here.
So okay, I should maybe scroll these cookies down, click accept, and you're gone, red notification?

I did it, and still it's here.
It's annoying, honestly. I prefer Last.fm notifications to CBS ones.

I think that somehow I do also, but not that annoying as it seems to be for you.

For me this "Manage settings" button/thing takes a pretty low space, in the lower-left corner of the page, as you may observe in this screen-capture:

it does get into view, yes, but quite a little, and it's not really disturbing.
I would prefer, though, if it will go away for good, since I already stated my preferences for ad policy that it's intended, so it shouldn't be necessary for me. At least on my usual combination of PC+browser; when on my phone, it had a different set to chose from and save, so I suppose this goes for any other method of accessing the site.

I complained about "Manage Settings" button when it first appeared, but this time I haven't thought about this - I get used to seeing it. It's ugly, but whatever.

Now I complain about this, dumb red notification:

I was seeing it from time to time, but it was needed to one-click on it, and it faded away for good, leaving "Manage Settings" as grey, as it always was. And now it stays red forever..

I'm somehow wondering if it's not something related to cookies, but I'm afraid of deleting them to see if it works. I came here mostly for clarifying, if it's cookies problem, or maybe something related to CBS/Last.fm

I'm pretty sure it's related to cookies.
I've checked this twice: once in my browser on the PC, and once in the browser in my phone: after clicking on Manage Settings, I clicked the option "Optout All".
Now the red large point is no longer there.

Most likely if I remove again cookies, I'll have to do this step again.
If I remember correctly, I also had got ridden of that red dot, but at point in time I removed all browser's temp data, including cookies, and then the dot was back to my page.

Can you check in a browser you don't use very frequently, and see if this happens for you, too ?

Eh, you're right, that's probably it. I tried to run Last.fm on Internet Explorer, and the red mark is gone. So thanks for making me sure what I should do.

The one thing that turn me off is that one my program, Twine, uses browser cookies, and deleting all of it will erase my data in Twine ;__;

Okay, I deleted only Last.fm cookies and it works well now, seems Twine also isn't damaged. So, big thank you for helping me with such newbie problem x)
