Deleting scrobbles are back, but... why only songs? If I want to delete an artist, what should I do? Did I miss something, or we can only delete songs? (and it's not easy to do, btw)

It was better on the old site. Atleast it asked you if you were sure if you wanted to delete a song when you clicked on delete, but now it's so easy to accidentally delete a song. Or a shout. Anyway, I'm sure we'll be able to delete artists soon enough, but I'm sure it will be too easy too.

On the old site, there were 2 ways to delete songs: deleting the song of your library (=deleting every scrobbles of the song) or deleting an unique scrobble. There were no warning when deleting an unique scrobble. It seems that here, we can only delete unique scrobbles

I agree that deleting artists would be a good addition. I also can't delete individual older scrobbles - they say "unknown date" and don't have a x next to them - i don't know what to do.

Dear staff, thank you for re-activating individual scrobble deletion but I would like to make a request. Could we have the "x" to delete on the full library page only (when you click "More Tracks") and not on the main profile page under recent tracks? I feel it makes your recent tracks section of your profile look more tidy.

A secondary request, could you maybe make the delete button smaller? I liked the little round button on the old site. Maybe a small, light-gray circle with a white "x" to fit the theme of the site?

Thanks for your consideration.

I'm sure the delete artist, albums, etc. are coming. They probably pushed the individual delete to at least give us something for now. OFC the website was released prematurely but I doubt they will go back (even temporarily) to the old site. For now use what you got and hopefully more features will make there way back in a timely manner.

I think it should be a matter of time. Honestly, I've never seen such a drastic change in a social network. Recalling that Orkut just after the drastic changes.
Nor imaginva the Last.FM I had so many supporters.

I'd like to be able to delete a track from my library without having to delete all the individual plays.

go to the artist in your library (user/"username"/library/music/"artist") find track - select track - delete the tracks

Thank you Last giving us back this option and fixing it (made it better actually)

I do exactly this, but when I select the track it says that I haven't heard it before, and so, I cannot delete it however it still shows on my library.

I've had this happen with some of my albums;

try this: >> (last.fm/user/"username"/library/music/"artist"/_/"track name") >>

if the artist or track name contains a space, use a "+"

example: ( last.fm/user/"username"/library/music/Motionless+in+White/_/Generation+Lost)

Good luck!

wow that was a pain, but I think I found a solution. ^_^

(last.fm/user/"username"/library/music/"artist"/"album") / ~ you should see a graph with years scrobbled near the top of the page

>> select the year (example: 2014)

>> select the month (example: august 2014)

>> see what day the track scrobbled (remember this dated, you can't delete it from here, example: august 31 2014)

Go back to (last.fm/user/"username"/library)

>> select the year (example: 2014)

>> select the month (example: august 2014)

>> select the day (example: august 31 2014)

Hopefully you can delete it from here.

No, there's no such thing as deleting a song (that means delete ALL it's scrobbles at once ! --- even your procedure only gets you into finding individual scrobblings of some song an deleting them, ONE BY ONE).

This is yet another feature that is available, but with smaller functionality than it was in the old site :-(

... also, deleting an album is possible in the same sophisticated way as it was in the old site, just with slightly different steps; this will mean, of course, getting into seeing the individual scrobbling of the songs you want to delete per that album, and click on that X (delete button).

Bump. Really hope this comes back because this is really just basic functionality. :S
