I thought this problem had been resolved but it's just cropped back up. I've started to notice some albums I'm scrobbling are duplicating themselves in my charts. When clicked they both go to the same album page...

Here's one example. I know it's happening with more than one artist, but Super Junior is the only one I can recall at the time of writing this.

This is a problem with the way the current scrobble database system handles corrections in your library.  We're replacing the entire system right now, so this should be fixed early next year sometime (from about February onwards).

Did you ever fix this? Because I'm still getting it. (Scrobbling from Spotify, both links go to the same page, there's no extra spaces or weird characters)

This isn't fixed yet I'm afraid, but will be in the new database (we'll announce here on the forum when we're putting that live) :)

Cheers,
Laura

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Same artist, same link leading to the same page. But it appears doubled on my pag....

Hi therer. Today, all of a sudden, I saw that the an artist I was scrobbling appeared doubled, just like in the picture. But it's not two artists with the same name and picture, it's the same artist. Clicking on either of them, I go to the same page.

Later I found out that this last executions were tagged different on my mp3, but it went correctly to last.fm (I supposed was auto-correct by your system). But it appears as if it was two artists. And both of them lead to the same page if I click.

I'm sorry if someone already posted this, I searched and didn't find.

Some albums duplicate in my albums chart under the exact same album title. For instance right now I have two TLOP in my albums chart. Plz fix this! Thx!

I am having this issue. Here is an example: https://www.last.fm/user/Master_ov_Khaos/library/music/Naked+City

The album Naked City shows up twice. All of a sudden recently it created a duplicate and now scrobbles to that instead of the one that has 200 plays in my library. If I click the links on each album they lead to the same page. Pretty annoying as this can completely change my top albums chart.

I'm only seeing it once in the link above, did you delete the duplicate?   As I said earlier in this thread, this is a known issue that will be fixed soon -- probably end of March early April.

I actually resolved it. Turns out that changing the “album artist” on the file makes it scrobble as a different album. So I deleted and re-scrobbled because i take this too seriously

Ok, that's a related issue that should also be fixed by the new scrobble storage system I mentioned above.
