Empty song on Spotify causes Last.fm settings disconnect

I found a track at Spotify that causes a disconnection between Last.fm / Spotify

INXS, Michael Hutchence, Mylene Farmer - Never Tear Us Apart (Mystify soundtrack version)

Was briefly available on Spotify and could be added to the queue, but could not be played-back. The song has now been taken off Spotify but would still apear in de listening queue if not yet 'listen to'. The song/single does not seem to have an official release until Friday 5th July.

Once this song is at the front of the queue, playback of Spotify immediately stops without any error-messages (the app/program appears to function without any problems however no music can be heard). If a new song is selected playback continues. However at that moment it is clear that scrobbling does not work anymore as if in Last.fm settings the "Spotify Scrobbling" is no longer working. The solution is to disconnect and re-connect that setting to get it to work. If unnoticed any songs listened to will not have been scrobbled.

This one was in the queue each time the disconnect-problem happened for me in the past 10 days. The problem presented itself independent of OS / browser / and even in two latest versions of the Spotify-app.

Always: Windows 10 Home fully updated / Opera latest version / Spotify latest version.

This bug has disappeared, before LFM staff had the chance to find the cause.

For now this thread can be closed.
