Seriously guys, this is terrible. A ton of stuff is just broken and unusable. Why would you release software in this state? Shame on you.

Your site is forcing me to use Spotify to stream music -- I don't use Spotify! I use Google Play Music. And your YouTube streaming was working just fine -- why did you remove that? How can I tell your site to use YouTube instead of Spotify?

Also, I tried to download the scrobbler app for Mac, and the OAuth authentication is broken. On the page where I grant access, I get "API authentication is currently disabled. Please check the support forums for updates." WTF?

I've used last.fm literally every day since 2009, and now I can't use it. If things aren't remedied really soon, I'm going to cancel my subscription and leave. Spotify pulled this crap when they refactored their UI and removed a ton of features, so I left and went to Google Play.

Hi thanks for your feedback, we're sorry to here you're encountering problems.

The persistent player alternates between content from Spotify and Youtube, depending on catalogue availability and your preference.  If you set youtube as your preference (click the arrow next the spotify icon and choose youtube), it should continue to source content from there instead.  We would very much like to add additional streaming sources such as Google Play to the music player in the future, and player has been designed to support this.

Regarding OAuth, this is most likely due to us migrating systems over.  The issue should resolve itself by the end of tomorrow.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this in the meantime.
