You can scrobble tracks played in foobar2000 using the foo_scrobble component.

Installing foo_scrobble component:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of foobar2000 from http://www.foobar2000.org/download
  • Download foo_scrobble.fb2k-component from https://github.com/gix/foo_scrobble/releases
  • Open the menu File -> Preferences
  • Click on Components, and then click on the Install... button.
  • Navigate to where you downloaded foo_scrobble.fb2k-component and open it.
  • Click Apply and restart foobar2000

Connecting your Last.fm account:

  • As before, navigate to File -> Preferences
  • Click on Tools -> Last.fm Scrobbling
  • Click the Request Authorisation button
  • Last.fm should open in your browser, log in to your account if prompted
  • You'll be asked if you want to grant foo_scrobble permission to access your account.  Choose Yes, allow access.
  • In foobar2000, click on Complete Authorisation
Tracks played in foobar2000 should now scrobble and send Now Playing notifications to your account profile.  If you want to disconnect foobar from your account, you can do so here.
