Groups, journals, playlists...... Any plan to reintroduce them in the new version of Last.FM in near future?

I am sure that I read a lot of similar if not the same questions and ides, but every thread with similar topic in last 2 years is without any reply from moderators or stuff people. Since general impression is that Last.FM forgot its own point I think that the idea for re-implementing some of the main old features is not only suggestion or an idea but simple must do thing.

I remember when Last.FM was a real social network where it wasn't so huge gap between users and website. But now, after updating without implementation of some important things such as groups, journals, playlists which made people connected between themselves and with the Last.FM itself, and after so long of getting answers such as "we have intention to bring those features back", Last.FM more and more looses his personality.

My idea / suggestion is that for example, for groups you can implement some new features such as possibility to run for the leader of the group if previous leader abdicate and did't pass it to someone else. Or some other functional things which will bring communication and connection between users on higher level. But definitely you have to give more personality to this lovely site which many of us love still. And give some concrete answers to all those questions for which we constantly trying to get any proper response, for example when?

Thank you in advance for replying.

Sometimes they reply stuff like this with 'there is no point for [something] since you can use the official subreddit for that', like WHAT THE FUCK. If I'm a last.fm user I want to interact with other users in the website, not at some forum not every user uses / is aware of.

Agreed. This was a bone of contention for me on the old site and it left some great groups without any moderation or administration, not just for a leader who left but also for a leader who was AWOL for months or years at a time.

I suggested something like this 2.5 years ago, but thread ended up locked because it wasn't active for several months. The last activity my thread had was last year. I remember that Jon marked my list of suggestions as "planned."
