Holly Jones' scrobbles put on Holly Johnson's artist page.

My Last.fm username is Xcellp.  I found a Holly Jones' piano piece on a streaming channel and scrobbled the piece.  However, when I clicked on her name in my profile's recent tracks I was sent to Holly Johnson's artist page.  See attached screen prints.  There IS a Holly Jones page (https://www.last.fm/music/Holly+Jones), but the info contains information on Holly Johnson and Holly Jones as far as tracks, albums, and bio.  These are entirely different individuals, so I have no idea why or how Holly Jones was cross referenced to Holly Johnson.

Johnson is a British punk rock bass player (male), while Holly Jones is an American "new age" or "neoclassical" pianist/composer (female).  On a track page for Holly Jones https://www.last.fm/music/Holly+Jones/_/Stillness+of+Brilliance (Stillness of Brilliance) a brief wiki I added is included and her "About the Author" description is as I created, with her picture and the beginning of a brief bio I created for her. See screen-print.  However, when I click on "read more" or "see full artist profile" I'm sent to Holly Johnson's page and bio.

Is there any way to get these two entirely individual artists untangled and again given their own artist pages, own bios, etc.??  Please let me know if you have any specific questions about this issue.

Hi! This appears to be an incorrect redirect, you can add report it here: https://getsatisfaction.com/lastfm/topics/incorrect-artist-re-directions - Unfortunately fixing incorrect redirects and separating artists isn't available right now, but hopefully will be addressed.

If you want the correct artist displayed in your library, you can go to your website settiings here: https://www.last.fm/settings/website and disable auto-corrections. Please note disabling auto-corrections will skew your total srobble count and can change track/album/artist names within your library.

Please see also this related FAQ:

As carnagexcandy has mentioned, wrong autocorrections like this one cannot be fixed globally in the database at the moment, the developers are working on this and related issues which have to be solved first.

As you have found out, there is a Holly Jones artist profile, you can see it when disabling autocorrection in your website settings or directly choose the redirected link which is also visible on top of the Holly Johnson profile put in a question, see your screenshot:

On this page you can add her pictures, videos and shouts, even an own wiki which will not be shown on this redirected page after saving it which is another related bug. Thanks for pointing out that it still can be seen in the artist summary at the bottom of her related track and album pages though.
