Hi,
Sorry, it's not possible to delete those scrobbles with "unknown date" timestamps at the moment.

In my library I have a bunch of scrobbles with an "unknown date" timestamp. Unlike scrobbles with a timestamp, these scrobbles can't be deleted. The little x simply isn't there and I haven't found another way to remove these scrobbles from my library. Am I missing something or is there really no way to delete these "unknown date" scrobbles?

I see some people have scrobbles with "Unknown date" I was wondering how do you accomplish this? I am guessing the Time Stamp is missing from the scrobbles and now wondering if this was originally possible or if this happened with the new site launch.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Will we ever be able to remove tracks with an "unknown date"?.

Play counts imported by a user from a source like their iTunes library cause a problem where they get bulk assigned to scrobbles with an "unknown date", which are impossible to delete. This is a known issue and an issue ever since the new version of Last FM rolled out over a year ago.

There was an official response in a thread acknowledging the issue several months ago, but it basically just said "Welp, you can't do that, soz".

I want to ask the Last FM staff directly: have you actually got any intention of bringing this functionality back and if so, when?

On a related note, will we also be able to delete artists, tracks, and albums from our libraries? Currently, we can only do this by deleting every single individual scrobble which is both tedious and not exactly user-friendly. Furthermore, if you come across a scrobble with an "unknown date" while trying to do this, you're stuffed! See why I bring this subsidiary point up?

Any users who would like this question/problem answered please chime in and follow/"me too" the thread, as thread activity/popularity is apparently a deciding factor the staff use to decide what issues need addressing.

I wait with baited breath!
