There are a lot of fake users on the site, they listen to thousands of songs an our. for example, https://www.last.fm/user/last-goodbyee, he/she has  30,336 scrobbles in just one day! and all from the same artist so she/he will be top listener pretty fast! I don't know if last.fm does anything about it but this should not be possible!

They don't seem to care. Having multiple accounts isn't against the rules, but they say using them to rig the voting system is. However, I reported someone who was using multiple accounts to upload and vote up offensive images, and nothing has been done about it. The images are still there, and so is the user... along with their many fake accounts.

It took the team a week to kick one user who managed to reach 700,000 views in less than a week. Staff members wouldn't ban him if he weren't uploading porn animations as his personal avatar.

That profile you list (Last Goodbyee) is ridiculous - a new scrobble literally every single second. A quick glance by a staff member should automatically lead to a ban as that person is clearly not a valid listener.

I do think Last FM is being to laid back on this issue. This has been mentioned in other threads, but as JW90 points out, it's technically not against the rules to have multiple accounts and in said other discussions, some users reckoned there is a valid reason to want multiple accounts...personally I don't understand why anyone would have or want multiple accounts unless it's for nefarious reasons. The only valid reason I can think of is if you had a personal and an account you managed for the company you work for, otherwise what is the point?

I do feel like a flag for questionable behaviour would be a good feature for Last FM to add.

While there are a lot of fake scrobblers on this site, many people are just uploading their library plays. Maybe they made a new account and want to bulk upload or maybe they're having issues with devices so they need to use Universal Scrobbler.

I made a new account and uploaded my library plays with Scrubbler which sent about 55,000 plays to my account in one day. I see the account you linked is really new so maybe they're doing the same? I don't think you should be directly linking people's accounts without really knowing, leaving them open to abuse. I'd prefer last.fm did something about that first.
