Few days ago some features in my scrobbler stopped working. I could not see if song is already marked as favourite or not, and if I mark song via scrobbler that does not show in my profile. And then suddenly it stopped working completely. I tried to solve the problem by deleting, then downloading and again installing scrobbler, but nothing. Then I did the same with Winamp thinking maybe that's the problem, but no. That did not help. So, now I am listening music via Winamp and Windows Media Player but that does not show on my profile at all! I am desperate! I do not know what to do next. For now, I can listen only music form the Last.FM website if I want something to be showed on my profile. But nothing from my computer. Please help!

It sounds like you're using the old scrobbler, you can get the new one here: https://www.last.fm/about/trackmymusic  however, it doesn't support Winamp at this time - only itunes and windows media player.

You can find a list of other ways to scrobble here (e.g. foobar2000, Clementine, Music Beem, etc): https://getsatisfaction.com/lastfm/topics/more-ways-to-scrobble

Well, Windows media player is good, but unlike Winamp it does not Scrobble flac files, only mp3. That's why I am using Winamp mostly..... Anyway, do you have some other player to suggest which I can use for Scrobbling (files of any kind, as Winamp does)? And, will (and when) Winamp be enabled for Scrobbling?

The current WMP in Windows 10 (version 12.0.17763.475) does scrobble FLAC files (and M4A with ALAC), also with the old Last.fm desktop scrobbler (checking with The Police on my PC at the moment). Other players would be VLC, foobar and the Spotify desktop app which can also scrobble local M4A files with ALAC on Windows 10, so you could losslessly transcode your FLAC files to that format.

These days, I would probably recommend Foobar2000 as it supports most modern filetypes (definitely flac) and can be extended further with 'components' (similar to winamp plugins). Scrobbling is reliable once you've set it up.  You can find instructions on how to setup scrobbling for it here: https://getsatisfaction.com/lastfm/topics/foobar2000-scrobbling.

If that's not to your liking, Music Bee and Clementine are good alternatives.

Thank you for this! I tried to download newer type of scrobbler but, for my old type of laptop and windows which I am using, only legacy scrobbler can be installed. I also installed Foobar 2000 and it is now the only way I can listen music from my laptop and transfer plays to Last.FM profile. WMP and Winamp does not work with legacy version of scrobbler, although they are listed as optional ways to scrobble. Anyway, Foobar 2000 is visually different from Winamp, There is no those excellent visualizations which Winamp has...... I still have to adjust, but I am glad that I can listen to music as usual. I will still keep Winamp with hope that you will eventually add it as optional scrobbling way.
Thanks again for answers!
I really appreciate it. :)

For visualisations, I think you can use this component: http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_vis_shpeck

I've not tried it myself, but I think it basically lets you run winamp visualisations in foobar

So which Windows version do you use on your laptop, Windows 7? The WMP of that Windows version does indeed not support FLAC files, only the version in Windows 10 does.

And there are skins and visualisations for foobar as well, I think.
