I can't delete scrobbels from redirected tags. When I use the "x" on the right they reappear instantly. And this problem happens with Chrome, Explorer and Mozilla. Why? What should I do?

Welcome to the club !
I have almost identical situation (I wrote about this in a few places, the last time here: https://getsatisfaction.com/lastfm/topics/can-not-delete-scrobbles-that-were-auto-corrected?topic-re...)

No one took the time to reply, at least; and as for some solving of the problem, or some work around ... nothing.

Maybe it's like Enya's song, "Only time" ?

Same here. There is no fix. Several problems just like this have been reported and nothing helpful from the dev team.

Got the same problem, lol. I browsed through the forum here and it looks like lots of people struggling with it! I hope there comes a solution soon!

I just found one solution so far, but then you need to know the exact spelling of the artist (or song) that you scrobbled BEFORE the auto-direct... Uhh, what I mean is this;

So, I scrobbled the artist "Jason Derulo - Marry Me", but on my profile it says "Jason Derülo - Marry Me". Now, if I wanted to edit the tags of the artist, I would need to add "+nodirect" in the URL. Like this;
".../music/+nodirect/Jason+Derulo"
If you do like this, you will not be re-directed and you can edit the "original" tags. I hope you understand what I mean, I suck at explaining...

Anyway, I still got a few artist that I'm trying to remove tags (I'm currently cleaning my library and correcting/removing weird tags) from but even with this method it does not work (and I don't know why)... So annoying!

This problem is caused by the existing user library / scrobble database, which we've been working to replace for approximately the last 7 months or so.  The problem should go away once we deploy the new service (probably late June).  Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this in the meantime.

sorry for cutting in, found the topic after I cleaned up my scrobble library and encountered some leftover scrobbles resisting deletion. I decided I was going to keep my stats clean, after I messed it up with some (Deluxe) and (Remastered) releases. Will the new database correct the pre-existing scrobbles, or will it only affect the new ones?
