But no really, it is literally the best feature of any website. I scrobble from Spotify, and it works like a dream. It makes music listening so much more fun. I visit the site like 3 times a day to check on what my friends are listening to, and my personal stats for the week, month etc. Keep doing what you're doing Last.fm. :)

Yep, best site i've found in the last couple of years! I discovered a bunch of new artists I probably never would have found without Last.fm! I joined in a few weeks before de beta site launched, so I was not yet attached to the old site and personally I prefer the new look :D I took a looooong time to get some features back but it looks like the last couple of months the last.fm staff have been working harder to get things done! Love the site!
The only thing I really miss from the old site is the way festivals were, (list of artists you know on the line-up, artist you should listen to on the line-up, your recommended line-up), but i'm sure there will be many improvements yet to come to the site in the months to come :)

Keep up the good work guys!

Slightly tickled that you only found this site in the last couple of years - I've been signed up here for 12 years now, and that means you can almost see my internet access patterns by my scrobbling history - had a year or two where I had no home connection, and it's very visible. *g*

ITA on your festival/event gripe though. It bugs me too. I miss that. Which reminds me, I should go find the next gigs I'm attending & add myself to them...

I love scrobbling too.  I have scrobbled from over 100 devices/websites/apps over the last 10 years.

"If it doesn't scrobble, it doesn't count."

Haven't read that in years! The classic Last.FM/Audioscrobbler mantra, one that I truly live by.

My only problem with Spotify is a lot of the song names and album names are wrong, i.e where it states remastered versions. These show in your library as a whole different album if you've listened to the "non-remastered" version on a different app/website i.e itunes. But I find spotify far more user friendly, I just end up not listening to songs i want to because of the song tags
