I'm getting HTTP 500 internal server error and 'Connection reset by peer' error. Does using multiple IP address with one API key matter?

I am trying to fetch some data using the Last.fm API, and I printed the error logs which keep saying 'HTTP 500: Internal Server Error'. It's weird that some work (some processes are fetching data) and some don't. Some suddenly stop fetching data. I tried accessing the URL directly, using the 'track.getInfo' method, and it works. Then why am I getting a HTTP 500 internal server error?
And when I ran my program a few minutes later, I got a '[Errno 104] Connection reset by peer' error. Do these to errors mean that there is a problem with the server, not my program?

Also, I am running my program on multiple computers, which makes my program request data from the API using the same API key but with different IP addresses.. Does that matter? Is one API key dedicated to only one IP address at a time?
