After updating iTunes, it looks like scrobbling has stopped working on my PC. It hasn't scrobbled anything in the past few days. I've uninstalled LastFM and reinstalled to no avail.

Did you already think to change to Windows 10 ? Because I experience no troubles at all with scrobbling and the iTunes update.

I'd rather not update to Windows 10 to get scrobbling working...

Alex, I *fixed* one part of the issue by using the last version of iTunes, 12.4.1.0... The app is recording tracks I've listened to now, but the site is not updating my tracks.

This is ridiculous. I work with a software company as a manager. I can't believe LastFM as a company would let probably their largest base of users, Windows + iTunes users, just go without service for a month or two. Ridiculous.

@ above if you have win 7 or 8 those updates from 10 are being stored after microsoft said they'd stop, but from 7 to 10 is no big change, you'll lose media center, but those with win 8 or 8.1 you will be likely jumping for joy ;)

another thing; F with apple you lose, even microsoft, best over-priced lap on market, best os as well.

Would redownloading an older version of iTunes work?
I've thought of reverting back to 12.1.1. via oldapps.com

Still broken! Scrobbles work from my iPod using an ancient iTunes managing program, but scrobbling from iTunes itself doesn't work. Pathetic! This needs to be resolved!

In some way, the scrobbling in the Floola ipod manager is still working. It surprised me, but I just put in my login details in Floola's lastfm tab in the options and it works fine.

So, an old, rarely updated third-party iPod managing app (Floola) works fine, but Last FM's own plugin does not.

I've been using LastFM for over 10 years. I've tried reinstalling everything - and still my itunes and my ipod just don't scrobble at all.

As if by magic, mine starting working again. I downloaded the version "for older video cards" and rebooted a lot.

And then, as if by magic, it stopped again. I have no idea why. This is so annoying. iTunes has just *stopped* scrobbling.

There's a new iTunes out (12.4.2). Has anyone had luck downloading this and using it?
