Ever since the migration, all of my scrobbles from iTunes are being cached...I can't look at any forums on the site since they don't exist anymore and I'm not even sure if this is a migration issue or an issue with my computer. I am using OSX 10.8.5.  Is anyone else having this problem/does anyone know of a solution?

Yep me too.  Windows 7, itunes.  I wish they would fix the basics instead of all this other crap.

Same problem here. The last scrobbled song shows up in the website but the rest do not and are not counted. Tried uninstalling and installing back the app and it's not working

I'm having the exact same problem. Plays from my computer are scrobbled, but plays from my Ipod are cached and don't appear on my page. Help please!

Apparently they're suspended for the migration but I find it strange that I can scrobble fine from spotify but not iTunes? Why isn't that being suspended too?

UPDATE: my scrobbler has disconnected completely from last.fm and is asking me to reauthenticate....but the page it leads me to so I can do so does not exist. I'm probably one of the few people who isn't too phased by the new site, but jesus, at least if you're going to uproot everything make sure the basic functions are working properly

Same problem here, nothing since has submitted since the 17th. I've been on this site for nearly a decade and all of the problems that have occurred in the last month between the duplicate track counts and this cluster *expletive* of a site roll out are just absolutely appalling. I remember not liking the old rollouts at first just like everyone else, but at least everything worked with those.

At this point, it honestly looks from a user standpoint that the people in charge are just doing one thing per day to get everything back to normal and are doing non-essential stuff first because it seems easier. And to that I call BS: nothing has gone right with this release since last week but nobody appears to be working to fix this at a pace that's acceptable. It would be one thing if before the rollout there was a mass announcement that said there would be outages, but instead it was sprung on us with no warning.

Having gotten that rant off my chest, whoever out there is working on this to fix it, do so quickly...please, for all our sakes. Work overtime, bring in temps to speed it up, do whatever it takes

Mine is cached too. It still shows the now playing track on my profile when I'm listening to music but all scrobbles are kept as cache. I tried reinstalling but didn't work.

6 days of this sh*t. I know its the weekend and I imagine all staff are off but they should have sorted this problem on Friday before the weekend. Its telling that 'Jon' wasn't even aware of the issue as his 'solution' doesn't work and was offered days after we all already had this issue. CBS has completely killed this site, wouldn't be surprised if half the last.fm staff have been axed since they took charge to save money. This site seems to have nothing but problems that never get fixed but I truly believe this is the longest that songs have been unscrobbled/stuck in cache.

So glad it's not just me, I spent ages yesterday trying to diagnose if it was a problem at my end.

This is a joke.  Bad enough that the new site actually REDUCED what stats and info it gives us but the core function of the website is non-functional and the "braintrust" in charge doesnt even include it as an issue on their checklist of things they are working on.  if there were another website I could migrate my statsto I would have left this place long ago.

Same here, I think there's a way of getting it to work by deleting the cache file but I'm holding out for a fix as I'd rather not lose nearly a week of scrobbles. would appreciate better communication from the staff, at the very least an acknowledgement of the problem and a projected timeframe for a fix (or at the very least letting us know how long scrobbles stay in the cache before being deleted). I honestly don't mind the rest of the roll-out (besides the limited amount of similar artists and not being able to sort recommended artists by genre) because I don't really use the social aspects of the site anyway, but not being able to scrobble is very frustrating and is genuinely getting me down after using this site for over 5 years! Same here, I am mainly an ipod listener so if the core problem is their dorky new website cant take more than 10 songs at a time I will pretty much never scrobble anything successfully again.  The poor nature of the redesign is annoying enough but the fact it doesnt even let me scrobble crosses it into straight up unbearable territory.

Well I am being sarcastic no one official has proclaimed that but the last time they had a major scrobbling problem it took weeks and weeks for resolution.

Add another user to this list. I've been with last.fm for nearly a decade and this is by far the most disappointing update, especially with the iTunes caches piling up.

The most frustrating thing is the lack of communication when it comes to this issue and its (hopefully) potential solution.

I have been scrobbling using the Last.fm scrobbler and iTunes/iPod for a week and all my scrobblers are still in cached. Re-installing and re-authenticating my account didn't work.

For those that have lost their patience (like me), I suggest everyone to use a third-party scrobbler to use with iTunes until this issue gets fixed (who knows when).

I'm currently using NepTunes for Mac OS X (10.10 Yosemite) with iTunes 12 and it's working fine, very simple to use. The only thing is that this will only scrobble the iTunes plays and not the iPod when it's connected, which it's a disappointment but there is not much there until this issue gets fixed and I can use the Last.fm scrobbler again.

I'm all for an update to the website but it all functions should be in proper working order before they make the switch. What were they thinking?

Please give it a try. It's one of the few free apps available to download from the app store. I've been searching for an alternative scrobbler for hours since I heard that the third-party scrobblers were working fine, not to mention the status.last.fm was showing the submissions were OK. :)

I second the vote for NepTunes -  it's reliable, stable, actively developed and free (and it supports Apple Music). The official client from Last.fm keeps breaking with every iTunes update and even if it works it's not reliable... I haven't used it in years because of that.

As for iPod listeners: I use LastPod to scrobble my iPod Classic. It's a Java app for Mac and Windows and even though it hasn't been updated in ages, it works perfectly fine on Yosemite for me and I've never lost a single scrobble with LastPod in almost 3 years.

Thanks for the suggestions! Unfortunately I'm totally behind and don't have Yosemite...and I'm not sure I want it. :/ I'm not sure if this means it's time to upgrade or if I should stick it out

This is really awful. I can't believe it's been a week and they've done NOTHING to fix these major problems and all because of a stupid redesign that they weren't able to efficiently test before releasing.
