Ever since the migration, all of my scrobbles from iTunes are being cached...I can't look at any forums on the site since they don't exist anymore and I'm not even sure if this is a migration issue or an issue with my computer. I am using OSX 10.8.5.  Is anyone else having this problem/does anyone know of a solution?

I tried step 2, iTunes is now scrobbling the tracks directly as I listen to them so that's kind of fixed for me (didn't work for me at all the last couple of days) but tracks scrobbled from my iPod are still stuck in cache...

I tried that, but my cache folder is completely empty. Should I delete the entire folder? Because I'm getting the same issue even though the folder is empty.

Same problem here. :-(

For now, I'm getting round it by scrobbling using the excellent universal scrobbler, and playing tracks through Hype Machine (which doesn't seem affected.)

Can't help feeling like this is the beginning of the end for last.fm.

I scrobble my stuff from Spotify. It has scrobbler built inside it and it works perfectly.

Same here, but it actually worked up until the 21st. Until I found this thread I thought it was me updating iTunes that screwed it up. I tried their "stuck in cache" troubleshooting/reinstalling/updating everything, to no avail. It's been three days and I've probably lost about 200-300 scrobbles. I've been on this site since mid 2006 and this is such a petpeeve... I really loved the new interface, but this is crap. FIX IT LAST.FM.

Same here. I can only see the currently playing track nothing else stays. I've deleted the cache too but it doesn't help.

I wonder if the Last.fm staff have all gone on holiday...

Don't think it's been mentioned in this thread yet, but it was mentioned elsewhere that for some users, tracks started getting stuck in cache after connecting an iPod or other device and scrobbling more than 10 tracks from it. That's what happened with me, which explains why I started having problems a few days after the new site launch. The solution offered didn't fix the issue.

Yeah, that's my situation. I can scrobble from Itunes, but only 10 tracks from the iPod. Any more, and they get cached, and then I have to go in and delete the cache before anything will scrobble at all. PLEASE official Last.fm people, it's been a week now! Why can't we just have our old functional site back again?

A problem for me too, I tried uninstalling and re-installing and it worked for the rest of the day (lost three days worth of scrobbles though), but today it's back to the tracks being cached. Infuriating, please fix.

I guess we are will be simply waiting for a miracle here, while Last.fm takes a break and does not communicate with users. Loosing scrobbles since 19/08

same problem for me too. No scrobbles since 15th August.  This is terrible Last.fm. The new site is awful, not user friendly at all, not all relevant information there and the whole point of the site (scrobbling) not working for a week.  Ridiculous.  I won't be happy if I lose all my scrobbles that are just stuck in cache!

Also I have tried multiple fixes for this, nothing working. Scrobbles still cached. I've been using this site since 2010 and this is the worst I've ever known it.  Just bring the old site back.
