iTunes stopped scrobbling from iPod a few days ago

Within the last week (staring May 6), when I connect my iPod Classic to my computer, iTunes will update playcounts but the Last.FM client will not pop up a list of tracks to scrobble. Any tracks I play directly in iTunes scrobble normally, but syncing is ignored. I don't know what could have changed in the meantime (I didn't upgrade anything).

Also, when I try to manually use the "Scrobble iPod" button in the Last.FM client's diagnostics window, it pops up a message "ITUNES NOT RUNNING!", even though it is, and Last.FM does recognize and scrobble tracks played in it. (The Scrobble iPod button only popping up this message has been the case for a long time, but could be involved)

iTunes 12.3.3.17 64-bit on Windows 10

Is this why Itunes will not run?

Got it!

I directed my question as to 64 to 32 bit, when is Last FM going to upgrade? The answer is always time to find another piece of junk to replace it -- " My advice would be to start looking for some other software with built-in Last.fm support" = find downgrade?

Right...just uninstalled iTunes (the version I mentioned above) and then the lastfm app, rebooted my pc and re-installed both. I opened up the lastfm app first and then opened iTunes from the app, my iPod scrobbles were picked up!

Don't forget to use the version of iTunes I linked to above and the current lastfm app.

Try this.
